So back when I moved back to Washington, Jake and I spent a lazy morning/early afternoon with one of Jake’s best friends and a friend from high school. We went to breakfast at a Queen Anne restaurant, and then we wandered through the neighborhood, and happened upon a park that had one of those merry-go-rounds that you sit on a try to simultaneously stay on and not throw up at the same time. I was so excited to see one of these because I thought they would have been taken out of parks years ago when all fun playground equipment was deemed unsafe. Maybe this one slipped through the cracks. I don’t know. All I know is that I’ve been wanting to incorporate it into a session, and I finally got to a couple weeks ago. If anyone else wants to go for a spin during a session, let me know, and we can work it out. It’s fun for kids and adults, alike!

Anyway, the L family was kind enough to humor me and agree to the merry-go-round idea, as well as other playground shots. So there were slides, swings, and underdogs (oh, there were underdogs!). And this family is one of the most gorgeous families ever.
