Eli | One Year

My little friend, Eli, just turned one on Friday. I’m so glad I got to document his first year (newborn, 4 months, 8 months)! His parents purchased the “First Year +” package, and I think it’s a great way to capture your baby’s growth inĀ theĀ first year. Plus, it saves you a lot of money because the package is cheaper than purchasing individual portrait packages. Not to mention, I’ll contact you to set up the sessions, so there’s no need to stress about whether or not you’ll remember to with everything else that’s going on. I’m just saying…think about it. (wink)

Anyway, Eli (and his mom) was such a trooper through this session! It was wet and cold when we arrived at the pumpkin patch, and only got wetter as the session progressed. He didn’t fuss at all. I think it was us adults who got cranky with the weather.

Afterward, we did a cake smash session, and Eli was so active and mobile throughout the whole thing. He maybe had one bite of cake, and was mainly interested in just making a mess. Which was totally hilarious and appropriate. It was a cake “smash” after all.

I’ll definitely miss seeing Aaron, Mikaela, and Eli every few months, but it was fun while it lasted!

I love how you can see the cake flying off his hands in the one above.

He is so cute and has grown up so fast.
Those beautiful eyes and awesome curls are going to grab the girls in his future.
I hope he comes back at two!!!
